... a new arrival...

For those of you who don't already know, Trace has become an auntie again with the arrival of baby Louie, born to eldest brother Leigh and his girlfriend Emma. Pics to follow soon... when we get cheaper internet access!

... just a quick update on all things.. well, us... :)

We have moved on from Great Barrier as we had the opportunity of work in the Hawkes Bay area and are getting in need of funds... too many tea and cakes according to Trace :) So, we are now living in Napier, which is an art deco city/ town also known as the Chardonnay capital of the world... :) It also has the best weather in NZ, which is a bonus!

We are currently working at NZ's version of Kwik Save (called Pak'n'Save), and we are working on the nightfill 5 days a week. The hours are cool as we are doing from 7pm until 2.30am, which means we get all our days free to explore, drink coffee, eat cakes and lounge around in the sun.

My (m@) B-day passed on the 29th Oct and we hired some bicycles and headed out for a vineyard tour. We covered about 20 kms and nearly the same in liters of wine! It was a really nice day and some of the wine we tasted was amazing! Also, en route we came across a chocolate factory which was an unexpected treat! :) We finished the night off with a lovely meal at a little Italian restaurant and had our first NZ pizza! It passed the test with flying colours!

So, all is well and we are still having a great time. We will get some pics on soon... honest!
